Working Together To Revitalize Harrisburg Blvd
The 7811 Harrisburg Revitalization Initiative is a transformative project aimed at redeveloping the 7811 Harrisburg Boulevard site in the Magnolia Park neighborhood. This project was designed to bring affordable housing, community-based economic development, and community-driven solutions to an area that had been historically underutilized. The initiative was funded by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Program and supported through its Technical Assistance Program, with collaboration from key partners including Adaapta, Perkins & Will, Tecotyl, and Councilmember Joaquin Martinez. The development focused on revitalizing the site while considering environmental factors, market feasibility, and community needs.
